About Me
Hi, my name is Deshika Bodhi-Jackson (she/her) and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (SWI.LW.61395765) based in Seattle, Washington.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and my Master of Social Welfare from UCLA. Since moving to Seattle in 2019, I’ve been providing therapy in schools and community-based mental health settings, supporting individuals across different stages of life.
My experience includes working with children, teens, transitional age youth, and adults, offering both individual and family therapy. I’ve also facilitated groups focused on building social skills, strengthening coping strategies, and developing healthy relationships. In addition to direct clinical work, I have experience providing individual and group supervision to associate clinicians, which has deepened my commitment to helping others find sustainability in their work and balance in their lives.
I’m especially passionate about supporting teens and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions, as well as working with individuals experiencing stress and burnout.
I am committed to continuing to grow personally and professionally and I am always exploring areas to learn more and advance my skills. Outside of my work, I love all kinds of art and creative outlets, camping, being outdoors, and spending time with my dog Kida.
